Customs Brokerage Update – New Rules for Exporting to India

All courier shipments heading to India must have completed Know your Customs documents to present to Customs during clearance.

GSA Freight Logistics spokesman Adrian Valencia advises that it is a one-time requirement from Indian Customs.

“Once this is in the Customs database it will not be required for future movements between the same parties,” he says. “Please ensure that your receiver has this paperwork in order to avoid delays.”
