Who We are

How our Freight Logistics Journey Began

Company founder Zahra Jaafar established GSA Freight Logistics in 2006. Zahra opened offices in Mascot, NSW, and ran a one-person operation with a focus on global express courier services. She developed relationships with some of the largest well-known courier companies, obtained discounts off the courier retail prices, and passed on the savings direct to customers.

GSA Freight Logistics grew and began to expand its service offerings to include Air Freight services focusing on Excess Baggage  and Distributions.

The company grew steadily and so did the number of employees. From the beginning, the GSA team has focused on offering a personalised touch and good service with a competitive price.

Bigger Premises at Marrickville

Eventually, with a growing number of staff, GSA Freight Logistics moved location to larger premises in Marrickville in 2009. We hired more staff members and purchased vehicles and equipment to further develop and improve our service offering. From this location, we further expanded our portfolio of services to include Sea Freight and Customs Brokeragein order to be a one-stop solution for customers who wish to import into Australia or export to overseas destinations. We stayed at the Marrickville premises for five years and also introduced Domestic Services, while continuing to acquire a mix of different customers from various industries. Throughout the years, we have continued to focus on a personalised service at a competitive price.

Port Proximity at Matraville

In 2014, GSA made the move to Matraville in order to be located closer to the ports. The new premises also offered the benefit of more warehouse space. With increased capabilities and further vehicle investments, we expanded our service portfolio to include Storage and Container Unpack services.

We have accreditation as a Regulated Air Cargo Agent (RACA) through the Office of Transport Security to provide security checking and protection of all cargo from receipt until it leaves our possession.

Whether you require storage of goods, couriering of samples, local trucking of freight or overseas transportation of excess baggage, our company is now able to offer a variety of services to all customers. We plan to expand our service offering with each passing year.
